Phoenix brings out the sunshine at Evington Park!

Phoenix Saxophone Orchestra were delighted to perform their first free summer concert on Sunday 12 June at Evington Park, Leicester.

On a glorious sunny day, and in a beautiful setting, Phoenix perfomed a one hour set on the oval in front of the stylish Georgian mansion Evington House, that sits at the heart of the park.

An audience of 120 gathered to hear Phoenix perform, and we are greatly appreciative of Leicester City Council Park Wardens, Jane and Dave, who put out all the chairs for the audience, helped us with our banner stands, and looked after us so well on the day!

“The band performance was greatly appreciated by all who attended, with some great musical compositions. Members of the public who spoke to us were only full of praise for them,” said Jane.
